Autauga Creek Kayak with Sierra Club Alabama Chapter, Montgomery Group

Kayak four miles from Creekwalk Park to Canoe Trail Park on slow flowing water. Expect tight turns and some obstructions. Most of creek is shaded. Paddling experience helpful. Autauga Creek is spring fed and cool.
Cost: $25 for single sit-on-top kayak. $35 for adult/child combo kayak. Pay by cash, PayPal, CashApp, or Venmo at Canoe Trail Park.
Signup Instructions: Please fill out the RSVP form by 6PM Wednesday, July 6. Reserve your kayak or make shuttle arrangements through Prattville Paddlesports at 334-300-0071 by Wednesday, July 6. Outfitter will provide instructions. Plan to show up at Canoe Trail Park by 8:30AM. Email: [email protected]
Bring: Water but no glass containers, well fitting water shoes to protect feet. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING ON THE WATER YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE like glasses, keys, wallets, etc. I will have a dry bag with me to hold any small items.

Additional Directions: Canoe Trail Park is located at the end of Reuben Rd near Prattville’s Humane Shelter, just off County Road 4 in South Prattville.
