Cleanup at Horton Mill Covered Bridge with FLFR

FLFR is committed to helping to keep Blount County beautiful and clean!! We are hosting a series of deep clean ups in the months of February and March. In a deep clean, we are able to get to places that are covered with briers and brush during the summer and fall months. Litter cleanups bring awareness of littering problems in Blount County. All locations are landmarks of our county and tourist attractions for people from all over the state. It’s important that we do our part in keeping them clean.

Bring water, light gloves, a 5 gallon bucket, sturdy shoes, and a playful attitude. And wear a mask when we gather at the start of the cleanup. A representative from FLFR will supply trash-pickers and bags.

The day before the cleanup updates or last minute cancellations will be posted on FLFR’s Facebook. FLFR is inclusive of all members of the community in our activities and events.
