   “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time” FILM 

The first full-length documentary film ever made about legendary conservation thinker Aldo Leopold, Green Fire explores Leopold’s extraordinary career and his enduring influence – tracing how he shaped the modern conservation movement and continues to inspire projects all over the country that connect people to and the land.

   Crane Textile Workshop 

Artist, Doug Baulos, will be leading a morning and afternoon workshop making a unique crane textile object using sashiko sewing and boro mending techniques from materials dyed from plants in our collected dye gardens. The workshop will be held at the Carnegie from 9:00-11:30 and 12:30-3:00. Class size is limited to 12 people for each class. Cost is free but registration is required. To RSVP, email [email protected] to reserve your spot. (This is a kid friendly event for children with interest and experience in sewing and attend with an adult)
