Great Alabama Chili Cookoff for Gasp

$12 – $15Gasp cordially invites you to the Inaugural Great Alabama Chili Cookoff at Ghost Train Brewing Company on Saturday, October 26 from Noon-5 p.m. Teams will compete in categories like Traditional Chili con Carne, Homestyle Chili, Vegetarian Chili, Spiciest Chili, White Chili, which will be judged by a panel of “local celebrities.” We will also have a special Cornbread Baking Contest — because The South™. Attendees will vote on the People’s Choice Award.

This event will help raise awareness of Gasp’s mission to advance healthy air and environmental justice in the greater-Birmingham area through education, advocacy and collaboration. Proceeds from sponsorships, ticket sales and team entry fees will support our programmatic work such as Clean Air, Healthy Kids; Climate Change & Clean Energy; and Environmental Justice.
This event is hosted by the Gasp Junior Board, a diverse group of young professionals and students dedicated to raising awareness of our organization and support for our mission and programs.
All proceeds from this event benefit Gasp.
