Martin Luther King Day of Service

There are several opportunities to get involved on the Martin Luther King Day of Service.

Helping Unite Blount County: Oneonta Public Library Beautification: Friends of the Locust Fork River volunteers will donate and stain two picnic tables at the Library. Come join and join the fun! www.flfr.org for more details

MOBILE AREA: Presented by Mobile United and hosted by community partners, the MLK Day of Service brings together members of the community to make a change in our environment. This event is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to come out and serve their community on this memorable day.

The MLK Day of Service is a community cleanup at Three Mile Creek. We will gather litter and debris from our waterways and surrounding areas to provide a cleaner community for all. We are looking for dedicated members of the community that want to help bring about change and provide our area with clean air, clean water, and healthy communities.
