MARKET ACTIVITIES :
*Our environmental education, land stewardship outreach, and vendor networking activities are supported in part by a grant from Alabama NRCS.

1. Local vendors selling local sustainably grown produce, prepared food and drink, jewelry, and MORE!

2. Deserted Village Arts Fest – Open air art exhibition that will be happening alongside the market. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your art work, explore creations by other artists and enjoy local food and crafts.

3. Live Music by Ghosts Among the Pines at 12:30 pm and Mara Nagra at 1 pm.

4. Food Demonstration by Chef Harrison Davis at 1:40 pm.
Formerly worked at Ma Fia’s Ristorante, Butcher Paper BBQ, Vintage 2298 Restaurant and Butcher shop, and currently working at SpringHouse.

5. Interactive Environmental Activity – “Know your Waters – Understanding Nonpoint Source Pollution” by Zeph Embers and Sam Price at 2:30 pm. Learn about our local creeks and rivers and how pollutants travel through the landscape through songs and hands-on activities.

6. Community Drum circle / Open Jam at 3:15 pm – Bring your own drum, or use one of ours. Play an instrument. Sing. Dance. Move. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Park across the road in front of Jan Dempsey Art Center.
