The subject is alligators! Robert W. Hastings, retired marine biologist and devoted conservationist, is our special bookstore guest on Thursday, June 4 at 5:30pm. We gather to celebrate the release of his new book, The American Alligator: Abused, Protected, Restored, which traces the history and success of the campaign to protect these crocodilians from extinction in the United States.
