Paddlers and Landlubbers ARE INVITED!
SPLASH for Trash on the Flint River
Saturday Sept. 30– 9 a.m. until after lunch
Where: the Flint River, Meeting at Regions Bank in Hampton Cove
With: the Flint River Conservation Association (FRCA),
Bring: Sunscreen, hat with strap, water, paddling gloves (if needed)
Provided: Grabbers, bags, canoe or kayak (or bring your own), snacks
and LUNCH!!
Lunch and River River Craft provided by The TVA.
Register: Call Soos at 256-539- 3747 by 5 p.m. Sept. 28 th to register
Meet: Regions Bank, Hampton Cove, 8:45 a.m. to sign waivers.
Children (12 and over) and Adults must have canoeing experience, or stay on terra firma.
Please Join FRCA for a $15 membership fee and help us protect the water quality of the Flint.
We are excited to get back on a Southern section of the river. This benefits the beauty and aquatic life of the Scenic Flint River.
