Tube Float with Friends of Locust Fork River!

Float the river in lazy, slow, cool water. We will meet at 9:30 AM in the parking lot behind the Tonka Hardware/Shell station in Cleveland, then caravan to private property where we will leave our cars. There’s a short hike through poison ivy to the river. Generally a good washing in the river gets rid of the poison ivy — but no guarantees. Bring a floating device, anti-poison ivy cream, sun screen, river shoes (not flip flops), insect repellent, a sun hat suitable for the water, a picnic lunch and drinks in a cooler. We will be on the river one to two hours, depending on the swiftness of the river. We will picnic at the end of the trip.
