FreeWater is Life: The Year in Review with Cindy Lowry (ARA)
This year has been one for the record books, but we made it through! Join us Tuesday as we look at the wild year in review. Cindy will go over some accomplishments we saw this year and she will highlight some of the threats we’ve discussed. We’ll look towards the opportunities in 2021 and discuss possible ways you can make a difference in protecting our water in the months ahead. Come with success stories or ideas you have in 2021 and we’ll open the floor for discussion!
ABOUT THE WATER IS LIFE SERIES
Each Tuesday, starting on Rivers of Alabama Day (April 14), we invite you to join us from noon – 1 pm for this virtual get-together…with a purpose! We will be highlighting the role that water plays in our lives throughout Alabama and we will share how you can participate in the efforts to protect water, even in this new “normal”. You’ll hear from our partners across the state, and leading experts in water protection. We’ll even have a few river history lessons thrown in!
