Rachel debose
Black Warrior River Watershed
Rachel grew up in the sleepy small town of Adamsville, AL, on the west side of Birmingham. Surrounded by green thumbs and full tables, she developed a natural love for food and the ground it comes from. Rachel attended University of Alabama at Birmingham, receiving a B.S. in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health Studies and a minor in Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude with High Distinguished Honors. With her love for her community and dedication to equity, she quickly fell into the nonprofit scene in Birmingham. In addition to advocating for a healthier world, she can be found reading, cooking, dancing, and exploring what all life has to offer.
