Atlanta Cleanup with Chattahoochee Riverkeeper

This mid-week land-based cleanup helps further Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s efforts toward a Trash-Free Chattahoochee on Wednesday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The general location for the cleanup will be inside the metro Atlanta perimeter on a tributary to the river.

A few notes about this cleanup:

– The exact address will be provided to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. Because rain can move trash and carry it downstream, we try to pick a location that needs our attention the most.
– Whether the cleanup is taking place on land alongside a waterway or in canoes or kayaks, all cleanups involve getting in the river or a tributary, meaning you will most likely get wet and/or dirty. Dress accordingly! All necessary cleanup gear like gloves, bags, and trash grabbers will be provided.
– Volunteer safety comes first! To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will follow current CDC guidelines as they apply on the event date and will alert you of any protocols.
-Please fill out the form using your personal contact info (not company). This registration is for one person only. In order to bring enough gear for everyone, please do not bring any additional unregistered guests.

As a volunteer, you’ll receive a free one-year membership to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Prior registration is required!
