Birmingham Litter Cleanup – District 1

Black Warrior Riverkeeper is teaming up with District 1 to help clean up our community and our watershed!
Join us for a day of service on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.
Safety: This event will take place along the roadside in an area that may not have sidewalks, so please only sign up if you feel comfortable with this. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult.
What we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:
1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)
2. Closed-toed shoes
3. Water
4. Sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen)
What we will provide:
1. Garbage bags
2. Gloves & Litter Pickers
