Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge Work Day

The Friends of the Cahaba River National Wildlife have organized a work day at the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge on April 20, 2024. We will meet at the Overlook Trailhead, which is past the entrance to the Refuge (off of Bibb County Road 24).

Volunteers will be divided into teams to clear invasive species, maintain trails, and pickup litter around the refuge, etc. Trash bags, pick sticks, gardening tools, and gloves (until supply runs out), will be provided. Volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear sturdy shoes.
