Laid-back nature hike in Bankhead National Forest with Wild South

Join Wild South staff for a short, fairly easy nature hike in the Bankhead National Forest

at the Wild South office at 552 Lawrence Street, Moulton, Alabama

The hike will be around 2.5 miles long, roundtrip. Focus will be on observation and exploring the area we are in, being in or near the water, enjoyment of the wonders of the canyons of our Bankhead National Forest. This will be a good opportunity for sketching, journaling, or simply sitting and breathing in the beauty.

All ages are welcome!

Destination will be decided upon closer to the date according to weather and water levels. Go ahead and sign up anyway! You won’t be disappointed. Meeting in the forest instead of at the office is an option for the convenience of those coming from south of Moulton.

Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
