The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is in town as they seek to engage with stakeholders about the new definition of what waters qualifies as “Waters of the U.S.” under the Clean Water Act. This roundtable event allows stakeholders the opportunity to engage and discuss experiences with implementing the definition of “waters of the U.S.,” including challenges and opportunities within our geographic area. This roundtable will also provide an opportunity for the participants to discuss geographic similarities and differences, particular water resources that are characteristic of or unique to each region, and regionally specific feedback about implementation.

The stakeholders will meet with the EPA and USACE on June 7th, 2022 at 9am to 11:30am at Cahaba Brewing, but interested members of the public can join the livestream on Youtube by clicking here!
