SLUDGED! Free Fertilizer?  Hmmm….. Presented by Julie Lay
How one former industrial agriculture employee discovered municipality and industrial waste water sludge being used as fertilizer on crop land. What she found out, how it impacts YOU, and what you can do.

Julie Lay holds a BS in Animal Science from Auburn University and is a former Industrial agriculture employee for roughly 16 years.  In 2019, “food grade fertilizer from a poultry processing plant” as the sludge company described it, was applied near her home.  Since then, she resigned from her position and  been researching this practice and its implications on soil, water, air.  She is an advocate for community supported agriculture.  She resides in Guntersville Alabama with her wonderful husband and her two sons.
Don’t miss presentation!  Julie has a great story to tell! . . . . one that affects all of us!
