Water is Life: Department of Conservation and Natural Resources

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is one of the most important state agencies when it comes to protecting water and wildlife and more.  Join us Tuesday as we talk with Commissioner Chris Blankenship and Deputy Commissioner Ed Poolos about the agency’s management of our freshwater fish, wildlife, marine resources, state lands, state parks, and other natural resources.  We will also hear about some exciting projects they are working on to improve water infrastructure in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

ABOUT THE WATER IS LIFE SERIES

Each Tuesday we invite you to join us from noon – 1 pm for this virtual get-together…with a purpose! We will be highlighting the role that water plays in our lives throughout Alabama and we will share how you can participate in the efforts to protect water. You’ll hear from our partners across the state, and leading experts in water protection. We’ll even have a few river history lessons thrown in! Click here to watch any past Water is Life Zoom Talk.
