Agriculture is an important part of our economy and life in Alabama.  Irrigation has not historically been needed by Alabama farmers to thrive, but with climate change and technological advances, irrigation is increasing.  Join us as we talk with the Eve Brantley (Auburn University), Ashley Henderson (Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Committee) and Lee Ellenburg (University of Alabama in Huntsville) to discuss the Alabama Irrigation Initiative and efforts to ensure that new irrigation projects in Alabama incorporate sound watershed planning and conservation practices while supporting the needs of farmers both large and small.
