Grab your lunch and join ARA’s Program Director Mitch Reid on a webinar/conference call Wednesday, May 11 from noon – 1 pm.

Mitch will be recapping what happened during the 2016 Legislative Session that impacts our rivers, reviewing Rivers of Alabama Day activities, discussing the status of SB367 and he will let us know what we can do over the summer to#DefendRivers throughout the state.

Mitch will also talk about the action alerts around the American Rivers‘ recent designation of the ACF basin as the Most Endangered River.

Grab your lunch and join Alabama Rivers Alliance’s Program Director Mitch Reid on a webinar/conference call Wednesday, January 27 from noon – 1 pm.

Mitch will be updating us on the upcoming Legislative Session (it starts February 2!) and how it relates to our work as we #DefendRivers.

We know that the budget will be the primary focus again in 2016. Mitch will share his thoughts on what to expect and how we can ask our legislators to FIND the FUNDS to support all of Alabama’s much needed programs, including water management planning, ADEM, State Parks, Forever Wild and more.

In addition to the budget discussion, Mitch will also update everyone on ARA’s priority issues from the Legislative Agenda. As a reminder, we identified our four priority issues as:

FISHERMAN’S RIGHT TO KNOW
OPEN GOVERNMENT
