History and Nature Walk at Old Cahawba

Join us on this guided one-hour walking tour of the Clear Creek Nature Trail where you will learn how townspeople of Cahawba used the local plants and resources of the area to adapt to their ports being blockaded during the Civil War. You will also learn how to identify various trees and plants along the trail. Remember to bring some insect repellent, water and snacks. Tickets to this event are $8.00 and can be purchased at the Visitor Center or by calling 334-872-8058.
