Locust Fork Ramblers: Conspicuous Winter Hike #1 – The obvious landscape of winter

It’s winter time at Mardis Mill and along Graves Creek, come observe the winter landscape and learn about the conspicuous elements in our natural landscape. This hike will be led by Zac Napier.

Meet at 9:30 am – 3hr duration

Moderate to difficult hike due to slick bedrock, and occasionally off-trail walking.

What to bring: dress for the weather, sturdy walking shoes (may get wet), walking stick, camera, a healthy snack and water to drink. FLFR will have several magnifying glasses to loan, and one pair of binoculars to share. Bring your own if you have them.
