Huntsville, AL (January 14, 2015) – In celebration of the opening of its new Huntsville Retail Store at Bridge Street Town Centre, The Orvis Company, Inc. has made a $2,500 grant to the Alabama Rivers Alliance. Orvis Huntsville Regional Manager Tracy Zimmerman said, “We are proud to recognize this remarkable organization as a valuable conservation partner throughout the state of Alabama”.
Executive Director Cindy Lowry said, “We are excited to receive this generous donation from the Orvis Huntsville store as their conservation partner. This funding will provide resources for us to work with local river groups in the Tennessee River basin to protect and promote clean, healthy rivers for fishing, boating, and drinking.”
